About Us

Eden Westside Baptist Church is a church of restoration and a place founded on Biblical Principals. We welcome you to learn more about our church, what we believe, and how you can become a part of our church family.  Plan to visit either one of our two locations and we're sure that you'll find that Eden Westside is a place to heal, help, and call home.

Purpose Statement

Eden Westside is a place to heal, help, and call home.

Statement of Faith

We Believe....

  • There is one God.
  • Jesus Christ is God's Son.
  • The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God.
  • The Bible is God's written word to man and is inerrant in all that it teaches.
  • We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, plus nothing.
  • God gives us eternal life through Christ Jesus
  • In Heaven, Hell, and the literal return of Jesus at a time that God chooses.

How Do You Join Eden Westside?

We would love for you to make Eden Westside your church home.  You are welcome to come for membership at the end of any worship service.  The last step in membership is to attend the membership class (MIC), which is held once a month at each campus. There are several ways to come for membership:

By Profession of Faith

Those who are asking Jesus to be their Savior for the first time, or are coming forward for the first time publicly, may come by a profession of faith.  At a later time you will be baptized.*

By Baptism

Those who have made a public profession of faith in Jesus at a previous time, but have not been baptized can join pending baptism.*

By Letter of Membership

You can join by transferring your membership from another church that practices scriptural baptism.*  We will send for your membership.

By Statement

If you think that transferring your membership from your previous church would be impossible for some reason, you may join by statement that you have accepted Jesus as your Savior at a previous time and that you have been baptized.*

*Baptism is by immersion in water.  It is a symbol of the believer's death, burial and resurrection with Jesus.
