The New Member Information Class (MIC) is offered the first Wednesday of every month at 6PM. Please contact the church office for more information.

Baptism

For those seeking to be baptized, baptisms are scheduled regularly as a part of our worship services,   During a baptism, an individual has the opportunity to share with the church their decision to follow Jesus Christ.  Baptism is a picture and an illustration - a symbolic act.  It illustrates the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ on our behalf and our subsequent faith in Him.  It is not necessary for salvation, but is strongly associated with salvation as it best illustrates our new identity with Jesus Christ.  If you are interested in scheduling your baptism, please contact our New Member Ministry Office at 205-338-7711.

Once you have scheduled your baptism, please arrive 30 minutes before worship service to prepare for your baptism.

Where to Go for Baptism

• 4 PM Meeting: Building C, next to Sanctuary
• 6 PM Worship Service: Building B in Sanctuary

What the Church Provides

We provide information and support to all new Christians.

What to Bring:

• A dark t-shirt and dark pants or shorts
• A change of undergarments
• A pair of white socks (to prevent slipping)
• A plastic bag for your wet clothing
• Other items necessary in getting ready (hairdryer, makeup, etc.)
