Jacky Connell-w50w50A Note From Your Pastor – March 2, 2017

Hello Eden Westside Church Family,

I am so excited to be able to write a note every week about what God is doing at Eden Westside Baptist Church. I feel so privileged to be a part of what God is up to. If you have been attending lately, I guarantee you feel the same way. There is excitement in the air and God is moving among His people. Last Sunday was an INCREDIBLE day! I just want to say I am so proud of all the people that got involved inviting friends to come to church with them on Sunday. When I looked out in the congregation, I saw so many new faces. It was exciting to see all the new visitors coming in, there were so many people here. I want to give God praise for that. Thank you Eden Westside members for taking seriously the opportunity to invite your friends to church. We did it Sunday! To God be the glory! You know what, we can do it again this Sunday!

Last Sunday, we started a brand new sermon series, “Sin”. It was a POWERFUL day, the music in the services was wonderful. God moved in a special way and we want to welcome our newest members, Jody Lee, Paula Bennett and Kenneth and Allison Smith.

Sunday night, I am telling you, you just have to be here. It is an exciting time on Sunday night as God moves and works. If you have been coming, I know you are as excited as I am. If you haven’t been coming, we want to encourage to join us as we experience a PHENOMENAL movement of God.

February was an AMAZING month! We have had 13 people people join our church family, 9 of those prayed to received Christ. These are exciting times in our church! I give God praise for that!

Eden Westside church members, let me encourage to do a few things. First, let’s keep our eyes on the Lord and keep serving Him faithfully. Secondly, let’s invite our friends and our neighbors to come worship with us on Sunday and let’s continue to pray that God will send renewal and revival into our church.

To God be the glory, great things He is doing in our church.

God is at work at Eden Westside Baptist Church.

God bless you,
Bro. Jacky
